Deposits and contract
Once you have viewed and selected your rental, Justvillas will draw up a contract clearly stating all terms and conditions of use. You are kindly expected to read it thoroughly and discuss any concerns before signing. When renting a premium property in Greece the standard security deposit is one or two month's rent usually depending on the property. The deposit will be held to cover any damage costs and will be returned to the tenant once the contract period has elapsed and the property has been checked.
Bills and utilities
Tenants are responsible for paying all utility services, such as electricity, water and gas, unless otherwise agreed in the contract. The tenants are also responsible for covering the cost of the internet or any other extra subscriptions. All utility payments can be paid either directly to the provider, a Justvillas agent or the landlord depending the contract.
Early leave
If you decide to leave the property before your agreement has ended you will be breaking your contract and will lose your deposit unless prior agreement is in place with the owner. Most landlords also ask for a minimum of one month’s notice.
